it feels like a black art a lot of the time too
try telling your Consultant that when he is looking at your uploaded readings and thinks you must be somehow making them up and inputting them to your meter
 
You're right, @himtoo - I fear I will never reconcile this! Still, 30 years in May and I'm still going strong, numbers or no numbers...
 
43 years and 7 months and 6 days here ( not that I 'm counting )
 

I dont do any of that as its too much hassle especially if the set is in my backside or arm. I just use my Expert bg meter and use the bolus wizard to log the correction by pen and then look at the Bolus Advice on the bg meter menu to see how much of the correction dose is remaining and then deduct from any bolus given by the pump later for food once bg levels have come down.
