Dear Community,
I'm new to posting to this forum, however I have been reading posts avidly for several months and have had T1 for almost 5 years so not really that new I imagine my story is very similar to most other T1's , i.e. diagnosis, confusion, self hating , the daily battle to control BS , the highs and the lows and lots of injections.

Not only am I T1 i've also been diagnosed with Irritable bowel syndrome , to which there is little respite. My HB1AC results have been 52% , 57% , 49% so I'm in the good control range.

I've noted that several people post their stories on daily/weekly basis and it helps them deal better with their problems. I would also like to do the same as this may help me in the long run

Hi Pete and welcome to the forum.

Yes, there are people who publish a diary of their journey and if it helps you then go ahead. You will also be able to get answers to any queries you have as people will respond with suggestions.

Welcome to the forum Pete, looking forward to reading your story
