Hello all,

I need your help!!!!!!!!!!! My boyfriend has dropped me for another and since then I haven't cared for my diabetes and readings have gone all over the place!!
My doctor told me that if I didn't do anything right now a diet won't be enough and I'll need medication and all!! That's why I thought of you all amazing peoples!!
I didn't feel like posting anymore here but thought you only could help!!! Sorry for the rant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Hi I didn't want to read and run.
Being dumped is not very nice especially if you really cared and loved that person, you need time to grieve and get over the hurt, you also need to start getting your diabetes sorted, only you can fix that, remember a heart has to be broken before it can let love in or out.

Hi,. Life can really suck sometimes, but life does go on & there's more than likely better for you waiting in the wings that will care for you with understanding & love.
Emotional stress can have an effect on our bg lvls, it's important for you that you put the hurt caused behind you & move on. Maybe your eating the wrong foods looking for comfort, hence the lvls being all over the place, you must be strong & get back to normal as much as possible for your own health.
So far you have been in control without using meds which is great thing & you can still do that, the only thing different now to then is your emotions messed up because of what's happened. You can do it & we're behind you all the way.
Just remember it's your live live it. ♡

Don't let a person tear you apart, don't be the victim, try to be strong. It's his loss, one day someone else will come into your life with love, tenderness and happiness.

Take care and focus on the future, not the past.

Hi, It's not nice when someone doesn't want you anymore, but it's better it has happened now, than later, where you could have been even more committed.

Although, you may be down at the moment you will come through this much stronger.

Time for you to spend a little time concentrating on yourself and your health which will take your mind off your loss.

Feeling better health wise will help you to be strong mentally.

It is nice to hear from you again, just wish it was for happier reasons!
Dealing with them:
1) (ex) boyfriend: Losing him is sad but as they say, "there are many more fish in the sea", this time you can choose one who appreciates you fully.
Until you find this person, you need to grab yourself by the scruff of the neck , metaphorically and keep working to bring your D under control, so that you become the person we all miss and care about!
( If you do need to rely on the crutch of meds, temporarily, don't over stress. i dipped into needing basal/bolus insulin and Gliclazide, temporarily but came out the other side, back to diet & exercise.
