I’ve never had to send my soon to be expired licence back to DVLA..
I’ve still got a collection of then.
But only the current one in my wallet..

As Jaylee says, no it doesn't. One piece of advice ; copy every form once you have filled it in. It saves a lot of trouble for future renewals!

I’ve never sent my license back, the last time I renewed my license it took them 4+ months to issue a new one and I didn’t fancy taking my passport everywhere as a form of ID. I shred my old one once the new one arrives, they never chase it up in terms of sending the old one back anyway
