Hi @Dian Fourie , have you retested your blood glucose after washing your hands?
If you're sure you're around 8 now, you should be fine from a diabetes point of view, however a steep drop like that and a prolonged hypo can give you something like a bad hangover.

Do you know what caused the drop?

Did you treat the hypo right away? I'm a bit confused because you say you were low for 3 hours, did you treat and did it not work or didn't you treat?

How are you now?
