need help with basal

hi im not sure if its my basal needs ajusting but but my sugar have been funny recently here are my sugars for yesterday before lunch 8.8 took 12 units of insulin and ate lunch 2 hours after lunch it was 8.0 then dinner time took 9uints and ate it was 5.3 then 2 hours after dinner it was 8.7 then before bed it was 5.4 does it sound like my basal needs ajusting or bolous
 

I'm not a basal/bolus expert but wouldn't it depend on your carb intake?

iv been injecting the right amount for the carbs its just the risses quite high and then falls low and then in morning my sugar bes high
 


Your pre-dinner and bedtime readings are fine, try tweaking your I:C ratio for breakfast to get your pre-lunch bg levels down, if you want you could do a basal test in the morning and see how your bg levels behave.
 
Your lunch ratio may be a little bit too high as well
You started off at 8.8 and ended up at 5.3 by dinnertime. If you meant to do that by adding a correction in with your lunch bolus then it worked perfectly, if however you thought your lunch bolus was only covering the carbs in your lunch then it might have been a bit too much insulin
