Hi all, can't tell you how thrilled I am with the LCHF plan. When diagnosed with type 2 I weighed around 11 stone. I got down to 10 stone 10 before starting on LCHF in February. I'm now down to 8 stone 4 (don't worry about these low weights it's all due to being only 4 foot 11) and my BMI is 23.4.
It never happened that way for me either - I reached a weight my body was happy with and now I can't seem to go any lower, even if I reduce calories or try all sorts of tricks to get the weight to budge. So I'm still looking forward to one day have your problem.

I'm 54 so don't really have any desire to be super thin and I'm already looking a bit scrawny. I really don't want to introduce any more carbs and don't know how I can fit much more fat into my diet. Is there a 'maintenance phase' or is there something I should be doing? I would be happy to stop losing weight now and just stay like this if there's a way of achieving that?
