this is not medical advice, this is what I would do if it was my son.. if your meter is right..over 11.1 anytime indicates a potential diabetes.
I would ring your DR first thing tomorrow morning and tell him, I would ask for an immediate appointment or if I should go straight to the hospital, the reason being they can get blood results in hours and not days.
I would want to be face to face with a hospital diabetes team by lunch time.
I would have an egg or fry-up breakfast, I wouldn't have toast, cereal or grains.

Thanks for our advice, I am ringing my gp first thing in the morning, and I'm going to take the readings I have been doing so hopefully will get some answers

I hope you get on well at the doctors, do let us know, I hope that it's sorted quickly. I hope you don't need the forum, but you know where we are, if that makes sense.
Just a update, can't get my son in the docs till Wednesday although they did say his urine sample I dropped in on Friday look normal, when I asked about the ones from the hospital apparently they don't get these:/ only checked my son's levels twice today as I dnt want to scare him, at 7.15pm it was 10 just done it before he went to sleep and it was 12.5 :/ so I guess will just have to wait for the doctors
