Hi
Im new on here but I was wondering if someone could help im T1 and have been for about 15 yrs (pretty poorly controlled) last A1c was 9.7, when I was diagnosed i did not get much help was left hanging around got an appt to see a dietician once SN was less than helpful and just told me what I wasnt doing not what i should be, I am now not very keen on hospitals, Doctors NHS even and any time I go to the GP im told lower the blood sugar and you will be ok or your stomach problems they are related to your diabetes etc, i want to get this under control because I want to be lead a healthy life and have a family and I dont know where to start!!!

Any advice welcome

I'm type 2 so prob not that much use but Welcome.

I currently control my db with a very low carb diet. I know many type 1's also advocate low/ish carb diet and manage very well

I will now shut up talking about that I no nothing about

Read through the forum and ask questions, there is no such thing as a stupid question!!!!
