Good afternoon my good friends now can anyone give me advice on why for the last two weeks every time I inject doesn't matter where stomach thighs buttocks etc it nearly always bleeds and leaves a small lump under the skin and a bruise this has happened in the past but very rarely taking into account I've been injecting for 44 yes not sure if it maybe the size of pen needles I'm using 8mm my life click fine which I've been using for a few years any advice please.

I was originally on 12mm needles and gradually reduced sizes from there till now I am using 4mm. I found the longer needles quite often bled on injection sites and then a lovely bruise would appear! The 4mm, fingers crossed, seem to be fine. I think sometimes if you are overweight the doctors look at you and give you bigger needles! If you try some of the manufacturers for free samples you may find some that suit you better. Obviously there will still be times when you hit a vein and bleed and bruise.

Thanks ann1982 for reply I see that menirini are giving away samples of there gluco ject pen needles of different sizes so I will email so they can send me some and see how it goes thanks again for advice. PS does anyone else use these needles?
