Neuropathy help

John I know how you feel. I have had 2 frozen shoulders, that come back every few years. Carpel tunnel which I won’t get operated on because every one I know has had limited improvement from including you by the sounds of it it. Back, shoulder and neck pain. Random stabbing pains in many locations including eyes. Been diagnosed with sjogrens and lupus but i understand it’s a result of my body reacting to irritation to sugars and causing inflammation. Feet burning and hands hurting as I type. I low carb most of the time. Less than 50 grams a day and it helps but 30 years ago we didn’t have the treatment or knowledge and the damage is done. We can improve current inflammatory reactions but not the long term damage.

Bobby that’s interesting re the Vicks! Do you have neuropathy triggered by cold? Mine seems worse when warm. I have started using an after sun cream which helps for a while. If interested it’s this one. Makes sense I suppose if feeling a burning sensation much like sun burn it might help?? https://www.eucerin.co.uk/products/sun-protection/sensitive-relief-after-sun-cream-gel-150ml

I use CCS Foot Care Cream for my feet in general. It's helped a lot, my feet are lovely and smooth.

No idea if it will help you feet, just thought I'd mention it, you never know right ?

Thanks Henry. Does it stop the burning.

Thanks Chicken82 (funny name
) what’s the mat you are using?

I use neuropathy socks that I bought from Amazon for a tenner and I wear them at night and in the morning my feet are ok and I wear Nike trainers all day as my feet are fine with them being on with them having a air bubble in the heal and I usually have to get a size slightly bigger than my feet due to letting my feet expand out and for walking around but before I got the socks my feet felt like pins and needles at night and I had pain in them most of the time from walking but now no problems and that's because the socks help produce air flow into your feet via the blood going in them and if it didn't happen it would never help you to get around the neuropathy

Hi. No socks help my feet. The only one thing which makes a difference for my neuropathy feet are Omega-3 oils. Walnut oil, fish oil, flax oil etc.

Hi

I buy my socks for Diabetics from HJ Sock Specialist https://www.hj.co.uk/

They do a range of socks for diabetics with
A soft Top so non restrictive
Seamless
And made with natural fibres for foot health
Also the are Endorsed by The Institute of Chiropodists and Podiatrists

They often have sales on to.

BTW I do not work or have any affiliation to HJ Socks I am just a satisfied customer

I use neuropathy socks for mine but the only thing for me is I’ve never seen a podiatrist for well over 17 years now so I wouldn’t know what my feet are like now because I don’t feel much in them and the last time I did was when I had a piece of glass in my foot and that I took out myself and patched it up and it healed up so I basically haven’t been seen by anyone for my feet for years and I’ve never asked anyone to see anyone so now I look after my own feet and if I get any problems with them I look after them and I check the symptoms on the net and then take action after that but as far neuropathy there isn’t much anyone can do about it because it’s about the nerves in your feet and when they are damaged there’s not much else that anyone can do but try to ease it but I’ve tried most things and neuropathy socks seem to ease the pain as I wear them over night and my feet seem fine during the day in trainers for over 16 hours or so before I put them back on
