Hi guys

I don't know if I have this in my shoulder/hands. It only tends to happen at night while in bed. I will wake up and my arm is numb but my hand is really sore with pins and needles. I have to shake my hand to get it back to "normal". Anyone else had this?

Hi yes i have had it quite a few times not in my arm but have woken up with dead hands and like you i have to shake them to get them right mine also only ever happens at night in bed weired :cry: i never linked it to diabetes though i will mention it to the nurse next time i go
 

I am wondering whether your symptoms are carpal tunnel syndrome? Best discuss with your doctor, I hope you feel better again soon x x
 
I've also suffer from pins and needles in my hand I lower it out the side of bed and shake my hand to bring it back to life!! Well never thought it could be linked to diabetes.
