Hi I am new to this forum, I am 40 something and have had diabetes since 1997, to be honest I am pretty rubbish at it, you'd think with all that time to practise I would be a great diabetic, but I'm not. I only know one other person with diabetes, and thought it would be great to hear what others similarly inflicted have to say.

Hi Neicy and welcome to the forum Maybe this information for new members could help you to improve your diabetes care. Ask as many questions as you like as you are sure to get some answers. Other members will be along soon to share their experiences with you.

Me too I'm a useless diabetic I don't need to pee all the time, I'm not constantly thirsty nor do I have embarrassing itches! It's great being useless! Now I feel it only fair I say hello, there's a lot of knowledge and goodwill here-enjoy yourself

Good to know I'm not alone in my uselessness, lol, I too have none of the aforementioned symptoms, in fact I generally feel very well, the 20 something's I work with constantly ask where I get my energy from! In fact the only time I feel as if I may have issues is when I visit my doctor! Good to find this forum though, I look forward to "meeting" others with diabetes.
