I'm now out of office for 3 weeks for holidays and DAFNE, so sadly there will be no updates on the bizarre nutrition practises in my office for a while haha

I LOVE the sound of that diet! Obviously been to the same NHS dietician I spoke to :roll:
Many, many T2s don't think it's serious though. Or prefer not to think about it. Perhaps that has a lot to do with the docs who give them metformin and gliclazide but nothing to test with and tell them to carry on as normal.
The day I was diagnosed I spent so much time researching I fell asleep at the keyboard. Luckily I stumbled on this forum.
Look forward to updates.

It is definitely to do with the attitude of the medical professionals. I've been diagnosed 10 weeks and although my DSN is good about seeing her patients frequently, the total sum of nutritional advice she gave me was "don't eat bananas or mangoes".
