hello,My question is has anyone been prescribed a new medication called Invokana/canagliflozin. It removes sugar from the system through the urine,I am curious about side effects and results Thanks in advance

I would google it and see what they are. from memory there are potentially some bad ones, but that seems to be with a lot of meds, but some have said they are getting good results from it

I would go low carb and try and stop the glucose in the first place.

Thank You for replies,I think I shall read some more on this drug already started low carb and I also take Diamicron 4 times daily. I also have an ileostomy so I have to watch diet that way too It is tough what is good for diabetes is not always good for ostomy and vice versa.
