Hi Den and welcome to the forum I know you are not newly diagnosed but you might find this information, written by the former monitors for new members, interesting and useful advice. Ask as many questions as you like as there is always someone here to help if you need to know something.

Hi den, Thanks for introducing yourself to us all here.
Welcome to us all den.
Am sure with your journey you can help us out here, with any tips and advice too.
Maybe let us know how you settled into a routine and the regime became part of your everyday life.
It all helps out here, just a tip, angle, suggestion can be a revelation to us! [me too- learnt loads on here, be lost without this forum]

hi to you anna29,and thank you very much for your welcome ..im only to pleased to help out in any way i can, having had type 2 for 10 years but one thing i have learned myself is theres always something else to learn,my type 2 was a few years ago out of control,my doctor and diabetic nurse have found that im insulin resistant, and that my body fights any insulin i inject into it, that makes it difficult to control, but we are working on it.. ..it just takes time.. ..my kind regards anna..x.den.
