@EssexGal welcome to the forum, great to have you on board. A quick question, were you diagnosed T2 prior or is this a totally new diagnosis? A few years back when I was living in Quebec I worked with two women in their 60’s. They were a couple of down to earth French ladies, and quite by chance their mothers were both diagnosed with type 1 right out of the blue. They were both in their late 80’s early 90’s. And yet they say the cut off for late onset type 1 is 70. It just proves you can get Type 1 at any age.
