hi
can anyone tell me that when you have a hypo
doe's this mean you have too much insulin or too little.
trying to work out how much insulin to take for a low carb diet
but when i take dose that doc told me i get a hypo about hour later
b=20 lunch=20=dinner 22 novorapid
night=44 of levmere.
i have put weight on around my tummy is his normal.

Hypo = low blood sugar, usually caused by too much insulin for the amount of carbohydrate you have eaten.

I found this online course helpful when I was getting to grips with it all
http://www.bdec-e-learning.com/
I seem to remember there is a section on which insulin (ie meal time or long acting) needed changing depending on when the hypos are happening.
