Have been on novomix30 for one week bg still to high how long before it becomes stable. Take 16units morning 10 units evening.back to clinic thursday.

I had my BG below 10 within 24 hours. It could be that you need more of your novomix. When do you do your testing? I'm sure they'll discuss why it's still high at your next appointment

I test 4 times a day before meals

Wouldn't have expected them to be that high then. Speak about it at the clinic on thurs, but I imagine your doses will go up

Back to see dsn & dietitian today, need not have worried about my bg she was pleased with the weeks diary. Increased my novomix 30 to 20 units morn & 12 evn. Have to watch carbs. Back in 2 weeks. Much happier about my type 1 now.
