Hi,

I am a type 1 diabetic and have been since August 2006.

I have been in denial/ been usless at managing my blood sugars until recently and admit that I have suffered with diabulimia which I think I have finally begun to work my way out of - no missed injections for weeks now

I know that I am always going to be conscious of my weight and am opting for a lower carb diet in order to ensure that I control my weight.

My primary goal is to get my hba1c to an acceptable level in order to try and have a baby. I also want to live a happy and full life and keep my complications to a minimum!

I know that this may take a lot of trial and error but I am willing to put in whatever effort I need to.

I think admitting here that I was/ am suffering with diabulimia is a good step forward for me in overcoming it!

Thanks for your time.

Well done for taking control keep it, up lots of help on here and support.
