Hello, I am new to this site! I have been a type 1 diabetic for 32 years, I am also new to Scotland and trying to figure out what my blood sugars are here has been somewhat difficult! Hope to get to know some people on here and become friends.

Hi ClareF74, welcome to the forum and Scotland!

What's the problem with figuring out your blood sugars? It's not THAT cold here!
 
I was just wondering how you are having trouble figuring out your BS, are you used to measuring it in mg/dL. If so it is easy to convert it into mmol/L using a calculator. All you do is take the figure in mmol/L and times it by 18.2.
5.0 mmol/L x 18.2 = 90 mg/dL.
