What sort of food do you like ...have a read not just on this diet ..but anywhere you can for ideas ..cook book ideas etc....
People follow many individual diets ..so you might get different answers ...
Also people change and adapt their diets depending on what they can choose to eat ...
I love homemade soup and a slice of healthy bread or a roll , not a packed lunch though ... :/
I guess it really is about what kind of foods you eat ...hot food cold food etc
Summertime I love salads ...but that is me ...lots of ideas if you have a read ....good luck ...hope you find something nice ....

type 2 thanks 4 your help

same as me then lots of options if u like sandwiches choose the live life bread or burgeon sold in asda . better on ur bloods. all meats are good and eggs cheese , if ur a baker then the list is endless are u a newly diagnosed yorkie? x

Welcome Yorkie. Packed lunches can be a pain because people assume it has to include a sandwich but it doesn't. There are so many choices, a few nuts, a piece of chicken, cheese, boiled eggs, sugar free jelly, berries and lots more. There are some great low carb recipe sites on the internet, just have a look through for some more ideas.

Hello and welcome

2 boiled eggs mashed with mayonnaise. tinned salmon or tuna, cherry tomatoes, cheese, chicken, cold meats, as said above, the list is endless. You don't need bread or crisps.

hello and welcome
i also suggest meat with salad

Thin sliced white cabbage is sweet and doesn't go soggy like lettuce if you have to mix it up before you go to work or even the night before. You can make a coleslaw type thing without the carrot if carrot is off your list. I believe bought mayonnaise is ok although the cheapest ones have tons of sugar I noticed in my local supermart. My fave pack lunch in a plastic tub is cabbage, (home-made|) mayo, onion, boiled egg, tomato, avocado, celery, cucumber, sweet pepper, grated cheese, ham & chicken. If you can eat it, bung it in, I say.

Hellman's real mayo is carb free. Watch out for reduced fat ones and also cheaper versions - they do have added sugar.

I have a packed lunch everyday. I have more carbs than most but I have (do vary some parts):
A chicken sandwich (bergen linseed and soya - just one slice)
Raw carrot sticks
Lettuce
Nuts - hazelnuts, almonds, brazilnuts, walnuts
Dark Chocolate (>70%) 2 squares
Blueberries + Raspberries
A Small Apple
A couple of dates or figs

well i never knew that 1 learning all the time x

How many carbs in that lot Andrew. Sounds way to many for me.

12g for the bread, 32g for the dates, 6g for the chocolate, 10g for the berries, 16g for the nuts, 10g for the carrots and lettuce = 86g of carbs in my lunch

There are many different options for lunch that you can choose form finding what works for you and your own glucose control is key

My own typical lunch is as follows
Salad (ice burg lettuce, carrots, red cabbage, green onion, radishes, chickpeas, tofu and sunflower seeds) with a oil n apple cider vinegar dressing .... comes in at 443 calories, 25g carbs, 32g fat, 19 protein and 8g of fiber with 916 mg of potassium and 153 mg of sodium
or
Raw Broocoli, Cauliflower, Carrots, Snap Peas and Hummus .... comes in at 295 calories, 36g carbs, 13g fat, 15g protein with 14g of fiber and 810 mg of potassium and 150 mg of sodium
or
Tofu and Rice with steamed Broccoli, Carrots, onion n snap peas .... comes in at 275 calories, 37g carbs, 8g fat, 20g protein with 9g of fiber and 764 mg of Potassium and only 90mg of sodium.
or
left overs from dinner the night before
or
Homemade soup
or
homemade Stew
or
homemade vegan chili

Do you have access to microwave? if so left overs, homemade soups - some tinned soup depending on what eating plan you are following - testing out. I find homemade chilli works well.

If no microwave -

crudite (chopped cucumber, pepper) olives, bit hummus, small cheese, few nuts

Oppsie bread or other low carb home made bread (can post a few recipes if you would like them) as a veggie I accompany them with hummus or cheese.

Large firm lettuce leaves are OK (ish) as wraps, might work better with meat, veggies and hummus slide out

mini omelettes made in deep cupcake type cooking tray, with veggies inside - made night before whilst doing kids tea- take just few mins prep and about 20mins cooking. easy and portable.

I have seen a few blogs where people use slices of ham in the base of the tin and make sort of quiches.

There is a post called something like what did you eat today, that might give you a few ideas - but you might have to scull back to weekdays. - will find post and try and share the link .

I invested in a multicompartment lunch box to make it easier to take lots of little bits.

Hello and welcome,I had prawns and advocada with full fat dressing for lunch ,pork and veg for supper, home made apple sauce.
