Hi Rosie I have my fitnesspal on my iphone but not got my head round it's features yet. I've been scanning things in the supermarket with it to check the carb amounts on things. I'm on about 60g carbs each day roughly atm, weekends Im more as I'm still trying out various foods especially Sunday lunch, but it's still early days. Some people on here I've seen, are on less some on more. It's the veggies I'm struggling with as a lot aggravate the ibs. I do miss potatoes and bread especially but when I've had 2 tiny new potatoes at the most and 2 hours later I see the meter reading I get very upset and feel as though I've ruined my day. Silly I know cos I'm still learning. The bread I have now is 9g carbs a slice and full of seeds, but 1 slice of this doesn't spike me so it's my treat. I've just bought 2 lchf cook books to give me some ideas. I don't miss cakes, biscuits, pies, chips, rice or pasta and I've found some great recipes on here for choc cupcakes, truffles etc which I also use as a treat now and then. Bright side is im eating more fruit and veg.
