I'm a newly diagnosed T1DM (about 1 and half years ago)
More recently, I have needed more correctional doses and I find that even that doesn't reduce my blood sugars.
I have visited my doctor who have advised further insulin doses but this hasn't really made a difference.

My usual administration site is my abdomen - but I feel there may be an element of lipodystrophy.
I changed my administration site to my arm and I have noticed this helps.

Am I out of my honeymoon period or do I need to alter my injection sites?

Can any of the pros on here help me out please?
Thank you

Thank you for your reply - my doctor has access to my libre data and says that the basal seems okay as its a flat line.

Is this correct?
How certain are you that your basal dose is still correct?

Try using thighs and buttocks too. You shouldn’t just be injecting into one area.

I tried my arm earlier on today and my sugars came right down.
I'll be trying my thigh and buttocks.
Thank you so much for your help
