Hi all new to this site but have found it incredibly helpful already, I am a 54year old male who was diagnosed type 2 seven years ago.
Managed to control it by diet only even though I am presently overweight (5ft 9in and 18st) but I do exercise four times a week for 1hour each session and go to the gym on lunchtimes when work allows.
Just started looking at the low-carb diets and tried some and have lost 4pound in the last two weeks.
Hi chrisbel and welcome to the forum! Have joined forum recently and also have found helpful, supportive and friendly. Congratulations on losing weight so far and just keep on a goin' :wink: Am also doing by diet alone and have configured in some form of exercise at least some each day so wishing you all the best and there's some great recipes as well as advice, help etc so please feel free to take a good look around for anything you might find of use.
