Newly diagnosed diabetic they found ketones in my urine there unsure if I am type 1 or 2 have to have a repeat urine test tomorrow to check ketones or a trip to hospital it's a lot to take in x

Hello there. Hope you're not too upset with your recent diagnosis. I'm getting tested on Friday and a wee bit worried. Hope we can chat sometime.

Yeah it's a bit of shock to be honest hope your okay like you I was pre diabetic for a while, let's hope my ketones was because I hadn't eaten much today and not down to something worse hope all goes okay on Friday

It is a shock but do stick with this forum -there is a huge amount of information here and loads of support.
