Newly diagnosed type 1

hi all newly diagnosed a week go type 1 aged 22 went in to hospital with blood glucose in the 40s was drinking 8 liter of water a day was strange well don't really no wot 2 say because have no idea wot is going on so any help would be nice

I'm newly diagnosed type 2, it's quite a steep learning curve we're on isn't it? I've found this forum a really useful place for getting to grips with what's going on. Read, read more, think about what you've read and then ask questions, there will be someone along who can give you some helpful information and advice.
 
Hi Rob and welcome to the forum You will have a lot to learn and there is no better place than here. Have a good read around and use the search engine. Ask any questions you like and someone will have an answer. There is also a forum for Type 1s which you may have discovered already.
