I'm confused. I'm newly diagnosed type 2. I had a fasting of 9.2 and a OGTT after 2 hours of 14.8. I am visiting the diabetic clinic next week. What I am confused about is that I have been ill for many years and this has gone undiagnosed. I have had episodes of being 2.3 and 2.6 but only recently I have noticed that I have been hyperglycaemic for weeks. I have now suddenly dropped to the 4s and don't no why? I'm worrying they got the diagnoses wrong? How can I be above 13 for over 2 weeks then drop to lower than 5s for the following week?
