Hello! Ive been type 1 for 2 years after a brief period as LADA. I'm on novorapid and levemir. recently I've had mornings when I wake up feeling really groggy and fuzzy headed, and on these days I tend to feel fatigue for much of the day. I'm worried that I might be having hypos at night and not waking up? Generally my bg is around 6.5 when I wake up.

This morning I woke up at 8:00am and tested my blood - it was 4.3 I then fell asleep again (stupidly! Thought I was just snoozing... had really vivid dreams!) until 10am when I finally pulled myself awake. Tested and was 6.2. Is it possible that I hypo'ed and then my liver kicked out glucose - so the 6.2 was a rebound? I felt extremely fatigued until the afternoon (cycling was a huge effort). Could this tiredness be connected?

I'm going to set an alarm for 3am tonight to check my bg.

Has anyone got any similar experiences? Or any insights to share? Thank you!

Quite possible, but if your worried that your going hypo through the night then you need to do some early morning bg tests to see which way your bg levels are heading.
