Night time

Ive had type 1 now for 13 years on 4 injections a day,however i find if my bs is about 10 or over at night i get restless and cant sleep.so to combat this i have both my long and short acting injections to solve this,however my diabetic nurse says i shouldnt,anyone have this problem at all?and whats wrong having 2 injections? Ive always done this
