Hi
@deb1960
Well done on that weight loss!
Sorry you are feeling so rough.
If you have only been doing lchf for 6 weeks or so, you may still be adjusting. It can take a while.
Have you had a google for what happens during the adjustment? How we need to drink more, may need magnesium and potassium?
But the anaemia will be making you feel very tired (i have a friend who was anaemic last year, she was exhausted for months). Do you know what your iron count is? And what treatment have you been prescribed?
I hope they get to the bottom of it, and your liver too.
Regarding food choices, i think your priority should be something that appeals. Are you nauseous at all, or do you just have no appetite? Is there anything that you crave?
Whenever I am under the weather i snap right back to childhood memories.
We only ever got Ribena when we were at death’s door, haha!
Also Cadbury's chocolate fingers ( don’t ask me why!)
And poached eggs.
My goodness, poached eggs with a dab of butter, on toast.
Oh, and tomato soup.
I could get myself LC options of all of those (well, except the choc fingers!) if I wanted too.
Sugar free Ribena or other blackcurrant
Prob 70% choc.
And then eggs on low carb bread like a Lidl roll. With butter.
LC tom soup is easy too. Onion, tinned toms, herbs and/garlic, and a splash of cream
Obviously, your comfort foods will be very different from mine. But have a think about what appeals, and then see if you can find a version that works.
Under normal circs, missing meals is fine for type 2s (and you obviously know how to adjust your insulin to avoid hypos).
But with the anaemia you may have been told that you need to eat?
