Hi, I have just been diagnose with type 2 recently (23/12/2014)

During the conversation with the doctor he asked about my well being..

I.e. Drinking unusual amounts, going to the toilet a lot, falling asleep and feeling tired all the time etc..
He was a bit shocked when I said that I had none of the symptoms he mentioned and that I felt fine.

Just a bit puzzled by this,,, should I be feeling different. ?

Cheers
Ray

I wouldn't worry about that, not everyone gets all the 'classic' symptoms. I just felt tired and listless all the time leading up to diagnosis, but I never found I was drinking or peeing more than normal.

I had no symptoms at all. But I believe these only show if your blood sugars have been high for a while. My HbA1c was only 53, and it was recent.

HI Ray and welcome.

When I was diagnosed, I was tired all the time and had painful feet. I did not feel thirsty nor have to wee all the time. Everyone's symptoms are different. It sounds like you caught it early, so that is very good.
