I went and saw my health assistant and asked her for Contour TS bg strips and told i can't get them because i am T2 diabetic as i am on a low budget is there anywhere i can get them cheap.

Many people use the SD Codefree meter, the strips are around the cheapest and there are discount codes. You will find the info in the forum - can't find it now, but someone else should know ...

I agree. Very few of us type 2s get strips on prescription. We buy our own. The Codefree meter and strips are the cheapest. The strips are under £6 for 50 if you buy in bulk.
