My diabetes is pretty well controlled (T1 on insulin and metformin), so I probably test about once a day at different times. This means that with the new meter I will be unable to tell what test was done when, making control more difficult to manage.
On speaking to a nurse at the practice she said they didn't realise it was missing time/date and that it was my only option - it is the only meter they have to give out to patients.
Is there any way I can get my GP to give me a meter with time/date available? They just moan about test strips being too expensive making it the only one available.
