Hi all
I’ve been on LCHF for about3 months now . Weight has come down from 18 : 10 to 16 : 5 . Now my problem is it’s stayed at 16:5 for the last 3 weeks . Still eating the same stuff . Drinking the same .
Anyone know what to do . I’ve got to get to 15:5 for my target and I don’t know what to do to get off this plateau . Any advice will be gratefully accepted
Can’t really drop the carbs much more only doin about 30 grs a day . But might knock the coffee and double cream on the head for a week see what happens .Some people find this happens, or you could have arrived at a point whereby what you eat is what your need to maintain your weight where it is now.
For those who find they unexpectedly plateau, it can be worth doing something different - Either mmissing a meal for a couple of days or dropping down the carbs a bit more for a few days, just to wake your metabolism up from it's apparent comfort zone.
Can’t do that fasting thing . Work in construction and it’s quite physical so fasting wouldn’t be a option I’d be starving everyday looooooooolHave you thought about Intermittent Fasting at all? Some members have seen great results with it.

So true the beginning was great . My exercise consists of work doin about 7 to 10 thousand steps a day but that’s it got 2 arthritic knees so by weekend I’m not able to do gym . I don’t have any carbs at lunch normally a couple of eggs and 3 bacon with mushrooms and a black tea . . I normally have my carbs in the morning via 2 livlife toast and cheese . Then a couple of ryvita and cheese for supper . So looks like the coffee has to go well the cream anyway . Let’s see what happensHi @Peadair O Brionn I plateau for a couple of weeks then lose a lb or so, then plateau rinse and repeat. This has been the case since I got near my 'normal' weight. I've cut cream in coffee, and have now cut carbs at lunchtime to about 5gm. I'm going to increase exercise for a few days to see if that helps. Weight loss was so easy in the beginning ......
