Has anyone heard of or tried the non invasive testing shown on Facebook /internet pages? One involves a patch on the skin, the other clips to the ear lobe....if so are they any good?

Not a Facebook user but stumbled across a non-invasive bg monitor a couple of months back, I believe they were due to make an announcement some time this year but not heard any updates:

The website says they expect to be taking pre-orders late this year but I can't see an actual release date or anything on there either.
Looks interesting but as with all the new technology it will depend on the cost. I think it would need to be a lot cheaper than the current cgms for me to give up the 'continuous' graphs but I imagine a lot of people would love to be able to test more frequently without the sore fingers etc.
Will be interesting to see the cost implications. Got quite excited about the Libre system with the node and reader until I realised the sticky node only last 14 days so monthly cost would be over £100. Too steep for me I'm afraid, at £25 per week.
