Not overweight but eating foods like on a diet

Hi Bivry

No if I were you and your Cholesterol results are good then there is no reason why you should not have a lot of good fats in your diet, and a little bit of the bad really in your situation, you can afford it  Fill your boots Lad  no only joking . You know what you need to be doing. Not eating from a tub of lard 10 hours a day but butter on your toast will be fine and the odd cake so long as it is all balanced out with the good stuff, which it sounds like you already do this.

The Gym would help you a lot to put some bulk on. When I stop training I will lose 3/4 of a stone, this is with eating even more calories over a month...it's all muscle that goes, it takes a lot longer to put it on than to lose it . The Gym along with the right foods will bulk you up but as Pheonix has said, which is so true ,you will put on weight as you age it's inevitable
Good for some of us not for others
I would stick to the Organic Cold pressed coconut oil if I were you for eating for added calories, but to be honest you sound like if you relax a bit with your diet you will probably not need it....but remember you only get out what you put in if you really want to change your body shape.
And obviously if you have good Diabetic control as you are then I would keep to what you are doing and let mother nature take it's course because probably in a few years time you will be looking back at your old jeans hanging in wardrobe thinking....those were the days
