Notifications?

Not sure where I should post this ....

I am not getting notifications when someone mentions me in a post - if they quote or like I do, but if they use my username I never get a notifications. I see them when I'm browsing, but folks could think I'm ignoring them! I've now switched that glad off and on again - has anyone else had this?

@Lindy1706 mentioned me in a post and I only found out while browsing ...

Have you looked at your alert preferences @PenfoldAPD.
If you hover over your name at the top of the page on the R, you will see one of the headings on the L is "Alert Preferences". Click on that and make sure you have ticked the necessary boxes.

Thanks for your help (and moving this). I've unchecked the options and rechecked - and got a noticatioms now so maybe it's sorted.

Ha ha ha @Lindy1706 ... I was worried people might think that - I'm not, honest guv
