Novopen 5 and frios

cant stand people who think they know it all
Hi has anyone had any problems with the novopen 5 and frios, as after using a frio to keep insulin pen cool, the digital display on the pen has stopped working, it seems that you can't put this pen into a frio.

Is the pen old? The display on my first NovoPen Echo stopped working after about 2 years. I guess the battery ran out.
 
No got it in March brand new

Before moving to a pump I was using the NovoPen Echo which is basically the same pen as the 5, I used the Frio Wallet in the warm weather and never had any issues with the memory function.
 
I have also used several NovoPen Echo's with Frio wallets and never had a problem. Is your pen OK when it's not used in a Frio?
 
Pen was working ok till went in frio
