Hi everybody.
I hope somebody can shed some light on my situation and relate in anyway to what I'm trying to do / achieve.
My bloods just lately have been all over the place , but last month I managed to get in a nice Hba1c reading of 8.5 (not good , but its the lowest its ever been) but with a lot of hypos. I've done DAFNE , and a few weeks ago I changed from Lantus to Insuman , I was taking a heavy dose of Lantus at night time , but still using between 20-40 units of novorapid for a small meal.
Anyway , I have my DSN vising my at home today , I'm still using a lot of novorapid to counteract just a few units of carbs , but still ending up with figures of 13/14 after a few hours.
My question is , has anyone swapped quick acting before ? and has it helped ?
