Nurse and Diabetec nurse appointments.

Ok, so I got my first nurses appointment Wednesday morning, I know they are gonna take blood, take blood pressure and check my feet. What else will she do?

Also, the same afternoon I am seeing the Diabetec nurse for the results and the "chats" what does this involve?

Hi Scot,

just been for my first appointment - diabetic nurse off sick - stand in nurse who told me she has a diabetic diploma. Took my blood pressure and gave me some leaflets. Told me I would be called back in 3 months for non fasting blood test. No question of testing or monitoring blood sugars in between. I have insisted on seeing a doctor this afternoon as I told her the three weeks wait was a complete wasts of time. So angry surprised blood pressure didn't break the machine. Hope you have better luck Scot

Thanks, yeah I read that, so for just the nurses appointment tehn its just blood pressure, blood, urine and foot check?
