Morning everyone. I have not been on here for a while since the death of my Mother, Aunt and Husband in the last 8 months. I have therefore not been looking after my diet at all. I am now going to try and am going to purchase a nutribullet after family members have recommended them. Just wondered what would be the best drinks/smoothies for me to make being type 2. I sometimes just don't feel like eating or eat wrong stuff when I am feeling low. This way I can get veg in me with all the fibre and all in one go. Would appreciate your advice on what to have and what to avoid. Also what best complimentary stuff to add i.e. chia seeds, flax etc. I am also high blood pressure and on medication. Thanks in advance.

Mrs P xxxx

Hi Mrs P, so sorry for you losses, you have had a rough time over the last 8 months and I am not at all suprised that your haven't been looking after yourself, but I am glad your have decided to come back to the forum and seek advice to get yourself back on track.

I see from you previous posts back in March that your received the advice from Daisy1 regarding cutting carbs from your diet. Also if you google low carb smoothies there are lots of websites with receipes which you can make yourself.

If you need any more information, please ask.

All the best

Marilyn

Thanks Dawn and Marilyn I will check it out. I am finding the new website layout a bit hard to navigate and I didn't get an email to say you had replied. How did you find my info from March please? I wouldn't have a clue how to find it. I am using on ipad so not sure if that is different.xx

Be careful with it, any carbs will be turned into fast acting and will spike. You are breaking down any fiber that slows digestion
TBH, I wouldn't recommend it to a diabetic
