It's just a shame it had to come to that but hopefully the GP's surgery will get a serious ticking off
So pleased for you

Defren   @ running a marathon!!
Actually, I am setting myself some little goals now that I know my B.S can be lowered:
*I want to lose some weight, which I will hopefully do via the new eating plan
*I want to get some upper body strength going so that I can ask the NHS for a wheelchair I can propel myself, rather than one that my husband has to push
I have some easy exercises with light dumbbells that I can do - once I've recovered from the hospital visit (they had to draw blood from my wrist to check the oxygen in my blood and my wrist is black and blue and hurts like a...well it really hurts). My typing skills are abysmal right now
catza - thank youI scared the heck outta my poor hubby when I did my blood check cause I screamed the place down!!
tree-peony - I actually did say to the diabetic nurse that it took drastic measures to get someone to hear me out, lol he just laughed and shook his head...I think he's a bit peeved that I kept getting the brush off.
Once again, thank you everyone - you all rock socks

Sods law! Whereabouts are you, if you don't mind me being nosy?
I admit, the idea of self propelling myself scares me a tiny bit right now.
I have no sense of direction...Or co-ordination...Or balance
