Last night from 7.50pm I had yet another electric power cut. That was number 6 or 7 since the 19th May. All the other times they put in a new fuse in ( like for like) and this went on for 3 or 4 times! ( at the substation) I was eagerly waiting to watch Fawlty Towers on BBC 2, The Psychiatrist at 8pm. I phoned the usual number and told them again about another power cut, I had two phone calls back ,last one at 10.30pm,to say the engineers will be working through out the night to locate the problem and fix it.I went to bed at 11pm, then I heard funny noises outside my house and 3 workman were there and were using some equipment to locate the underground cables and then they started to dig up the pavement area and scope up the tar and concrete, this started at 1am. Couldn't sleep, so was watching with Pebbles the cat, out of the kitchen window, then decided to lay down on the sofa in front room. Then I heard muffled sounds outside and raised my head to see the TV with a red light on, fixed
I must say I was really fed up last night when I first called the power cut line and I told them so, but as usual the customer service handlers were and are, all very helpful and supportive, with lots of communication. Must admit I am really tired today, very heavy eyes, but hopefully now this will be an end to the on going problem?
ps, My daughter would like to know who went through to the final of Britain's got talent last night, could anyone help out, before she gets back from a Guide fete? Many thanks

Frustrating! But good service to work through the night to get it back up. Jack Pack and Paddy & Nico for BGT x
