So I'm learning to drive and obviously you have to check your blood sugar is within a certain range to drive but do I do this in the driving seat or can I just do it in the house before I get in the car. Also will it matter in the test?

As long as you have tested within 2 hours of start of journey and every 2 hours during journey.

So the test person won't care if they don't see me testing?

No, testing is private. If they ask, just say you've tested and are within DVLA acceptable limits.

Best to test before you get behind the wheel of the car, always carry test kit and hypo fix in the car with you though.
