Hello folks
I have a next usb meter that was sent to me I used it until the strips ran out but when I checked the cost of new strips I knew that I couldn't afford to keep buying them.

Using my codefree meter at the moment and have an accuchek nano for backup with a pot of test stips that dont expire until nest year. Anyway what I was wondering, is what do I do with my old meter, does it need to be recycled or are there any charities that take meters. I also have a spare unused and still sealed lancing device and a good few lancets as I only use the fastclix device I got with my nano.

Hi I dont know if you have seen them on ebay starting at about 6£ ? Cant you get any on prescription? I would push down that route before getting rid of the monitor?
 
My practice wont supply strips unfortunately they say testing is not needed for type 2 on diet control. I just received a parcel this morning containing a Bayer XT meter, its sitting in the sealed box. I have no idea why I keep getting these lol.

If anyone wants the XT let me know and I can send it to you. Otherwise its going to the recycle center.
