Hi,

Does anybody else have an issue with insulin delivery/pumps not being secure after a shower? My pumps seem to go faulty after a shower more often than not and I'm really struggling with it! I was wondering if it's worth trying to cover it but I'm not sure how. Anybody got any tips? I'm applying it correctly, not showering straight after changing it and also not getting any lotions near it.

I don’t wear an omnipod but with other devices I wear sometimes they do peel up a little when showering or swimming. Have you considered looking into wearing an over patch on the omnipod so it stays on longer? A quick google search shows lots of companies that sell them

Good Morning Charlit I am an Omnipod 5 user. I have not experienced any problems with pods being unsecure after showering. For pods I do similar to you. I change them after showering, making sure I do not get lotions near it.

I do have this issue with my Libre 2+ sensors. I use skintac wipes which I get from Amazon. The only problem in using skin tac for pods is that it could make them difficult to remove. Insulet make “pod pals” which might help. There are others patches available in that might help you such as “Not just a patch”

Hope you can find a solution to this problem.
