Granddaughter (2yrs) has been diagnosed with type 1 and we are looking at the omnipod, does anyone know if the new omnipod can deliver fast and long lasting insulin or do they just have a single resevior?
All pumps only use the quicker acting insulins @Nannyjak
The 'job' of the long acting insulin is covered by the pump releasing tiny amounts throughout the day
GD been told Minimed is the best option with a sensor. Visit to hospital today they say we have to prick 3 to 4 times a day every day to make sure the sensor is working properly, this means no insulin injections but still pricking, what's the point of a sensor you cannot trust?
