One year on...

Will address my store cupboard this weekend to prevent bad choices being made, and concentrate more on the low/no carb items. Thank you
 
Hi @Grasue you have taken on a lot of changes in a relatively short time - food diary, regular bg checks, clearing store cupboard etc. Give the changes time to bed down. Concentrate on making these changes part of your routine. You may find that by eating at three times during the day you no longer want to snack between, particularly if you allow yourself a portion of ' full fat' foods., Diabetes means making changes for the long term, until they are second nature you are likely to slip back into old habits. When friends and colleagues can tease you about your diet, knowing that you will not succumb, then you know that it is OK to start focussing on something else.
