Oooooppppssss!!

I'll maybe try that then until I get back to normal!

Thanks so much
carbs are easier but can mess with control...if you increase protein to 100g or so, you may need to bolus for some of it, robert and spiker and a few others do LCHF for good BG results..ask lots of questions and google TAG total available glucose for advanced bolus stuff.

Thanks, I'm quite familiar with carb counting but always appreciate advice

Bolts for the protein? I've not heard of that before so will do some research unless anyone here can help?

You guys are great, got more help from here than anywhere!

You shouldn't need to bolus for protein if your eating carbs with your meals Beckie, only those on insulin who very low-carb need to do this as a general rule.

Pleased you enjoyed your KFC, nothing wrong with an occasional treat

At 100g carbs, you probably won't need to bolus for protein unless you have a high protein meal (large steak). You could increase your fats a bit by having cream in your coffee, butter on your veg, olive oil on your salad.

Great thanks for that it's a bit of a minefield at first!

KFC was awesome thanks nobblehead, it's a definite one off treat these days so made the most of it haha!!

Of all the fast food outlets (Mcdonald's, Burger King and such) I do prefer KFC myself, the chips aren't up to much but the chicken is awesome.

Agreed! Only one I would really go to, not a McDonald's fan myself.
